I thought your presentation was great.  It was structured and well organised, which really impressed me.  I was surprised at your confidence and how far you have come with your IT skills. It was good to see the diveristy of your work.  Thanks for sharing your work with me.

Dear Paul Jennings,

My name is Nicky Bowler and I’m a major fan of your awesome books. I stopped liking your books a couple of years ago but then my teacher introduced me to your books, now I think they are the best books in the world.

Here are a couple of questions for you. Why did you choose to become an author? How do you come up with the titles? Like; The Gumleaf War, Bird scrap and Souper man? I think they are quite funny names and have been created nicely. I think your title “Bird Scrap” was cool and the story and how they climbed out by the chimney was quite funny too.

My other favorite was the “Busker” I think it was very mean of the Busker to put Tiny down the hole. Do you agree? When Tiny came up his head went back that was very cruel. I think it was very sad how the dog was saving the man’s life and not his own life.

I think your book Unbelievable is one of the best! I also think you are always thinking outside of the square.

I was also wondering why don’t you have names in your stories because most of your stories I’ve read don’t have names and use words like ‘the boy’?

I really like your books, I don’t really know why but here are some of the reasons. They are creative, imaginative, they have descriptive words and they make me really want to read on. I really love your stories and I want to hear from you, please send me a letter back. I think it is nice of you to use your time listening to my letter.

Super letter Nicky with lots of comments and questions. Your tone is interested and friendly. You need to work on your editing of surface features to improve your writing. You are putting many sentences on new lines when they need to be included in the paragraph. You will need to work on this. Claire

Term 3 goals-Fitness

Fitness
My goal is to go for a run twice a week I will try acheiving this by the end of the term.
I will achieve this by putting a alarm on and that will remind me to go for a run I will also do a run by myself and one with a friend and go for a 10 minute run by myself and with a friend 15 minutes.

I think partly acheived this because I usually did it with Juliette and Amelia but then some weeks I would avode doing it on my own. I think the run with the friends I achevied but not really on my own but sometimes when I go to a friends for an Example Berties then I would Jog over but thats not a very long run so I will do a run on my own again.

Didn't acheive this so my Dad Helped me work arond this and what i'm going to do from now on is Dad reckonmended going for a run from now on most nights I'm going to get Sam to get me to go for a run.

Term 3 goals-Quality & Neatness

Quality and Neatness
My second goal is to do quality and neatness in my work I will achieve this by the end of the term. Everyday I will compare from my last time and see if it neater I will achieve this by keeping a eye on my term 3 neatness and remembering to date it to remind me and seeing how many scribbles and mess in it.

Evaulation
I think I didn't achevie this because I was sort of avoding to work in my book and grab a computer and work on that instead maybe next time I should just use my book instead. Next time I will do this again and try acheiving this and going for GOLD

My Dad helped me work around this and thougt I should Not always use the computer and leave it to only if we have to because a it says I have been Avoding it.

Term 3 goals-Self management

Self-Management
My first goal for term three is to work on my non-negotiables. I will achieve this each day seeing how many non-negotiables I get completed and I know by not chatting and playing around and actually working on my work. I know when I have achieved this by because I won’t be behind on my work. And will try achieve this by the end of the term.

Evaultion
I think I acheived this because Latly I've finished alot of my work and some of this I'm proud of but I still think I'm going try keeping this up even tho it's not my goal I will still work towards this. Sometimes I talk and Chat but then I thought My goal is Non Negotiables not to muck around so then I get moving quickly

My Dad thinks I have oveistly worked hard to acheivie this and now knows that I have acheived it.

Term 1 goal - Camp

My goal at camp and for a term 1 goal is to: Get along with everybody. I will get along with my group and others and not argue with them all.

Evaluation:
I think I achevied this goal because I got along with everybody in my group and I didn't argue with anyone. Because of this learning I can no get along with anyone.

Term 1 goal - Camp Room Tidy

My goal at camp for term 1 is to: Keep room tidy. I will keep my area of the room tidy and not lose my gear.

Evaluation:
I think I achevied this goal because every day I was ready early and oranised the whole time

Term 1 goal - Camp

My goal for camp is to go to sleep quickly. I will have 5 minuets talking if we are aloud. And will try get up earlier than usually. I will acheive this by making sure I put an alarm on to get me to sleep early.

Evaluation:
I think I sort of achevied this because I didn't really go to sleep quickly on the second night but on the first not I was so tired I went to sleep straight away But I really think next time to go to bed early because I got really tired.

Friends forever talking laughing,
enjoying every moment counts,
Meeting new friends splitting up.

Still remembering each other.

Leader

Well being a leader is quite hard I got this coment from Claire (my teacher) saying, "Congratulations on the fantastic job you did of leading class meeting today. You handled the discussion, included people not contributing and moved through the agenda very well."

I'm feeling really proud of myself leading team 14. Thanks for listening to me team 14.
